ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
- The candidates should have passed the two years P.U.C, HSC, INTERMEDIATE & 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects; or any other examination recognized as equivalent to it by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru.
- The Candidates should secured 50% of the total marks in Science subjects (PCB) taken altogether at the qualifying examination. However the OBC category and SC/ST students of Karnataka are required to secure 40% of the total marks (PCB).
- The Candidate should have completed seventeen years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
- Foreign students desiring admission should produce, (a) No Objection Certificate from the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. (b) An eligibility Certificate from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. (c) Student Visa. (d) Residential Certificate.
- The Selection is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), conducted once a year by the Indian Government seeking admission into the course.
Duration of Course
BAMS degree course 5 ½ years, comprising
- I Professional – 18 months
- II Professional – 18 months
- III Professional – 18 months
- Compulsory Rotatory Internship – 12 months
