It was a modest beginning with an ambition to rejuvenate the most ancient medical science of India, our Hon’ble founder Muralidhar Eklarkar established the College in August 1997.
The institution has evolved along with time, with an academic intake of 60 students every year.
The College of Ayurved is a constituent unit of Yellaling Education Trust which is recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine & Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi
The college is well equipped with requisite facilities in all departments rendering the course as mandated by the statutory bodies RGUHS, CCIM and Department of AYUSH.
The teaching facility is attached with a 60-beded hospital, The classrooms are equipped with projectors and the laboratories with latest facilities that provide controlled conditions in which scientific experiments and dissection can be carried out The college is also having Herbal Garden facility.
Teaching and learning shall be carried out in an environment of academic freedom and honesty .The institution will adhere to the highest standards of ethics in all its activities and is committed to excellence in all spheres of its activities and through internal and external reviews, will work towards continuous improvement.
To impart Ayurvedic expertise with theoretical, practical and clinical knowledge and prepare them to take on health challenges faced by the society and achieve the longevity of the living and make this world a better place to live in.
It is located in the Bidar Hyderabad Karnataka region. The well designed college building accommodates well-equipped laboratories, dissection lobby, spacious demonstration halls, museums, classrooms and library with a reading hall and internet facility.
Our institute consists of teaching faculties, who are proficient in their own subjects. In the classrooms our research oriented faculty goes student oriented. The college conserves an herbal garden having more than 285 medicinal plants species. Few endangered herbal species are seen here.
